The first World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference (WVTEDC) will kick off in North China's Tianjin, from Aug 18 to 20. It's expected to be shaped into a first-class platform for promoting vocational education development, and become a brand with Chinese allure and global influence.
The Maze Robot Competition, which is part of the 1st World Vocational College Skills Competition, was launched in Tianjin on Aug 11.
On Aug 10, 32 candidates from 10 countries competed in carbon neutral renewable energy engineering technology in Tianjin Light Industry Vocational Technical College (TLIVTC). They were divided into eight teams, each with two Chinese students and two foreign students. It was part of the 2022 World Vocational College Skills Competition held in Tianjin on Aug 8.
Vocational education is a business card of Tianjin. With the opening of the first World Vocational College Skills Competition, the influence of "Tianjin Vocational Education" will be further enhanced.
