The festival is celebrated yearly from April 13 to 15.
The program "Luban Workshop" has become a flagship brand of Chinese vocational education with great influence in the world.
China's Ministry of Education (MOE) announced on March 28 that, with the approval of the State Council, a world conference on vocational and technical education is set to kick off in Tianjin in mid- to late June.

China announced that it will build 10 Luban workshops in SCO countries within three years, which is an important step made by Tianjin's vocational education authority after that of building 10 Luban workshops in Africa, which was proposed in 2018.
