Madagascar Luban Workshop

The Madagascar Luban Workshop was unveiled online at the Polytechnic Institute of the University of Antananarivo on Dec 22, 2020.

It became the 10th Luban Workshop established by Tianjin in Africa.

In October  2019, the Tianjin Vocational College of Mechanics and Electricity, Tianjin Machinery and Electric Industry School and University of Antananarivo in Madagascar sign a tripartite agreement. [Photo provided to tianjinchinadaily.com.cn/lubanws]

With the strong support of China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co and other relevant organizations, the workshop is jointly built by Tianjin Vocational College of Mechanics and Electricity, Tianjin Machinery and Electric Industry School and the University of Antananarivo in Madagascar.

Located in the Polytechnic Institute of the University of Antananarivo, the Madagascar Luban Workshop covers an area of 2,000 square meters.

It offers  two majors in electrical engineering and automotive engineering in the first phase, and two majors in information technology and mechanical engineering in the second phase.

At present, it has built a vehicle maintenance training base, four professional basic training rooms such as senior maintenance electrician, hydraulic and pneumatic pressure; four professional training rooms involving modern electrical control, automatic production line, been equipped with 113 sets of equipment, developed two international professional teaching standards, 18 bilingual curriculum standards and 13 sets of bilingual textbooks.
