The Vocational Education Center School in Dongli district, Tianjin and the Number 2 Vocational and Technical School of Ponorogo city, East Java, Indonesia signed a cooperation agreement to build a Luban workshop in November 2016. 

The opening ceremony of the Indonesia Luban Workshop was held in Indonesia on Dec 12, 2017. 

After two years of operation, the workshop has developed with new innovations, helping cultivate local skilled talents and serve as a new window for cultural exchanges between the two countries.
