Xiaowangzhuang Town is situated in the southern part of Tianjin, specifically in the southwest of Binhai New Area. It shares a border with Huanghua City in Hebei Province to the south and Jinghai District to the west. To the east lies the Beidagang Reservoir, the largest artificial reservoir in the North China region. Xiaowangzhuang Town is located 44 kilometers away from the city center, 55 kilometers from the Binhai International Airport, and 65 kilometers from the core area of the Binhai New Area, serving as the southwestern gateway to Tianjin.

Covering an area of 128 square kilometers, the town administers 20 villages and 1 community, with a population of over 24,000. With approximately 110,000 mu of arable land, abundant land resources, and a beautiful environment, Xiaowangzhuang Town is a traditional agricultural stronghold in Binhai New Area.

In 2022, the town achieved a district-level tax revenue of 16.25 million yuan, representing a growth of 9.7% compared to the previous year. The industrial output value of large-scale enterprises reached 412 million yuan, while fixed asset investment amounted to 506 million yuan, and the actual utilization of domestic capital reached 169 million yuan. Major ongoing projects have a total investment of 772 million yuan, and there are 21 newly reserved projects. The town has also added 4 nationally recognized high-tech enterprises, 2 emerging enterprises, and 15 national science and technology-based SMEs.

Xiaowangzhuang firmly upholds the concept of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and positions itself as a leading force in the revitalization of rural areas in the city. It aims to become a model town for integrated rural industry development and a demonstration town for rural revitalization. Committed to the path of shared prosperity and green development, Xiaowangzhuang Town has identified three key directions: becoming a strong agricultural industrial town, a distinctive low-carbon development town, and a renowned town for pastoral leisure and cultural tourism.

Xiaowangzhuang is the primary production area for the nationally recognized geographical indication agricultural product "Dagang Winter Jujube." With tens of thousands of mu of winter jujube cultivation, it boasts the production of high-quality winter jujubes. The town is also renowned for its green and ecological peaches, grapes, pears, corn, wheat, and other specialty agricultural products. Various agricultural industrial parks and facilities have been established to support these endeavors.

Leveraging its abundant clean energy sources such as wind power, solar energy, and geothermal energy, Xiaowangzhuang has developed a large-scale wind power generation network, establishing itself as a distinctive town for clean energy. It has attracted new energy enterprises such as China Energy Group, China Huadian Corporation, and Sinopec Energy. The installed capacity of photovoltaic and wind power has reached 150 megawatts, with an annual power generation of 291 million kilowatt-hours. The town is actively promoting the development of circular agriculture, with 2,000 mu of green manure fallow and over 6,000 mu of organic fertilizer promotion. It has also achieved a rural domestic sewage treatment rate exceeding 90%. In its pursuit of a low-carbon development characteristic town, the town is exploring the integration of projects such as manure treatment, plastic film recycling, and straw comprehensive utilization with carbon footprint assessment and research on carbon inclusiveness.
