Taiping Town is located in the southwest of the Binhai New Area, bordering Huanghua City in Hebei Province to the south. It covers a total area of approximately 194.88 square kilometers and consists of 19 administrative villages, with a population of 32,000 residents.

In recent years, Taiping Town has achieved balanced and healthy economic development. Traditional industries have undergone rapid transformation and upgrading, giving rise to four main industries: metal manufacturing and construction support, food processing, fine chemicals, and the winter jujube industry in Taiping Town. Significant investment projects, including New Hope Pig Farming, Longyuan Wind Power, and China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, have been introduced. Currently, there are a total of 89 companies in Taiping Town, among which there are 26 large-scale companies. Among these large-scale companies, there are 15 industrial enterprises with a scale above a certain threshold, 10 retail enterprises exceeding the quota, and 1 service industry company.

Taiping Town fully capitalizes on its advantages as an agricultural town by tapping into its resources in winter jujubes and facility agriculture. The key emphasis is on the Cuizhuang Ancient Winter Jujube Orchard, which has played a crucial role in establishing the Jujube Flower Festival as a prominent and recognized event. This festival offers tourists the opportunity to experience activities such as picking winter jujubes and gourd pyrography, promoting the integration of agriculture with culture and tourism. With Douzhuangzi's "Cool Fly Town" at its core, distinctive projects such as pilot training, skydiving, and aviation tourism services are being carried out. The goal is to transform this fusion of culture and tourism into a prominent pillar industry and create a renowned tourism brand. Additionally, efforts have been made to leverage the presence of food companies like Heijingang and Fulienong and explore the utilization of park spaces to establish a chocolate town industrial zone, integrating food processing with cultural tourism.

Taiping Town actively promotes the transformation and upgrading of its advantageous industries. This involves phasing out outdated production capacities in traditional industries, encouraging independent innovation and the adoption of new technologies, and strengthening the reputation and industry status of leading enterprises. It also supports the construction of the Green Ecological Smart Data Center Integrated Project by China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group. Furthermore, Taiping Town deepens strategic cooperation with central enterprises such as China Railway, China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, China Unicom, and China Mobile, with the aim of becoming a model for integrated development and a benchmark for the economic development of towns.
