1. Overview

Yangjiabo Town is located in the northeastern part of Binhai New Area. Covering an area of 61.45 square kilometers, it consists of 13 administrative villages and has a registered population of 18,196 people in 6,171 households, with a permanent population of 16,820 people in 5,689 households. The town boasts 20,567 mu of construction land, 20,330 mu of arable land, and approximately 9,800 mu of freshwater aquaculture water surface, providing ample space for the development of modern agriculture.

2. Location Advantage

Surrounded by industrial parks such as Hebei Linjin Industrial Park, Fengnan Coastal Industrial Zone, and Caofeidian Industrial Park, Yangjiabo enjoys a strategic location advantage. It benefits from a well-developed road network and convenient transportation connections. The town is traversed by major trunk lines, including the Tianjin-Qinhuangdao High-Speed Rail, Beijing-Shanhaiguan Railway, Hannan Railway, Changchun-Shenzhen Expressway, Binhai-Baoding Expressway, and Coastal Expressway. Furthermore, it is located 8 kilometers away from the under-construction Tianjin Metro Z4 Line, facilitating smooth connectivity with major cities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

3. Featured Agriculture

Yangjiabo specializes in aquaculture, particularly renowned for its breeding and aquaculture of South American white shrimp. Over the years, it has established itself as a leading base for factory-scale aquaculture technology in northern China. Currently, the town is home to 53 factory-scale aquaculture enterprises, with 30 of them in operation. These enterprises cover a total construction area of approximately 724,000 square meters, representing a significant proportion of Tianjin's scaled aquaculture area, accounting for around 70%.

In line with the principles of green development, Yangjiabo has leveraged its local resources and aimed to develop as a distinctive "Chinese characteristic aquaculture town." Efforts are being made to enhance the structure of the aquaculture industry and transition towards environmentally friendly, efficient, and large-scale ecological farming models.

4. Industrial Development

Yangjiabo accommodates a total of 97 small and medium-sized enterprises. These include 34 primary industry enterprises engaged in aquaculture, agricultural planting, and animal husbandry, 24 secondary industry enterprises primarily focused on new building materials and new energy industries, and 39 tertiary industry enterprises involved in wholesale and retail trade of commodities and construction engineering services. This diverse industrial landscape contributes to the town's economic growth and development.
