Tianjin Eco-city works to deepen connection with Singapore enterprises

The Singapore Centre Workshop on Smart Technology and Sustainable Development Solutions was held in the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City in a hybrid format (online and on site). It was attended by more than 130 guests and enterprise representatives.
Hosted by the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Company (SSTEC), the master developer of the eco-city, this event aimed to help international enterprises better understand and perform in China’s market and facilitate the implementation of high-quality projects in the eco-city.

SSTEC, together with Enterprise Singapore (ESG), Tianjin Free Trade Zone Policy & Industry Innovation and Development Bureau, the China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Free Trade and Innovation Bureau (TECFTIB) and DayDayUp (ESG’s Global Innovation Alliance partner) jointly invited eight Singapore enterprises in smart technology and low-carbon sustainable development to join the workshop and share information on their products and technologies.
The representatives from SSTEC, TECFTIB and DayDayUp also delivered speeches on topics such as SSTEC’s low carbon development vision and Singapore Centre’s roles and business services; the Eco-City’s low-carbon development strategy and vision; and the Eco-City’s advantages and plans as an incubation and experimental base for green, low-carbon, smart and innovative enterprises.
Through this event, enterprises from China and Singapore exchanged in-depth views on their industries, market resources and technologies.
The participants also learned about the pro-business environment, convenient measures and bright market development prospects of the Eco-City, which was recognized as a National Green Development Demonstration Zone.
The success of the event highlighted the roles and business values of the Singapore Centre, a one-stop shared office platform and provider of comprehensive solutions for daily business needs for companies in the area.
It also further strengthened exchanges between Chinese and Singaporean enterprises. In the future, SSTEC will continue to leverage its advantages as an international platform to help enterprises achieve high-quality development and to provide more business opportunities through its professional and efficient services.
