SSTEC switches off non-essential lights and electrical appliances in the Eco-Business Park in support of Earth Hour.

The Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Company, master developer of the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, launched an online  quiz activity on Saturday to mark Earth Hour 2023. It is  a global activity initiated by the World Wildlife Fund which calls for coordinated efforts to protect the Earth.

Echoing the theme "Give an Hour for Earth", the company aimed to promote public  awareness of the global campaign on climate change and biodiversity loss and to call on people to contribute to the goal realizing zero carbon by 2030.

The quiz spreads environmental protection knowledge.

The online activity was launched on SSTEC’s official WeChat page. It introduced the background and significance of "Earth Hour.”  Participants can win WeChat rewards through the online quiz about environmental protection. The activity shared information on ecology, environmental protection, biodiversity and other fields; guided the public to practice a green and low-carbon lifestyle; encouraged people to protect the earth and build harmony between people and nature.

As the Eco-City's master developer and a strong supporter of sustainable development, SSTEC has been participating in Earth Hour movement for 12 years. SSTEC also switched off non-essential lights and electrical appliances in the Eco-Business Park for an hour and called on staff and their families to turn off all non-essential lights and appliances in offices and homes. In the future, SSTEC will continue to actively practise low-carbon development and work with partners to realize the vision of setting nature on the path of recovery.
