Tianjin Chengjian University expands international cooperation

Tianjin Chengjian University (TCU) and Universiti Malaya (UM) of Malaysia signed a student exchange agreement on June 22. TCU President Bai Haili, Vice President Wang Zhongliang met with UM Vice Chancellor Dato’ Mohd Hamdi Abd. Shukor in person.

Directors and deans of the International Cooperation Office, Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering from the two universities attended the ceremony via video link.

Both sides applauded the signing of the agreement and actively explored new cooperation opportunities.

In recent years, TCU has made great achievements in international exchanges and cooperation. The university has established partnership with nearly 50 universities from more than 20 countries expanding its global engagement.

International School of Engineering at Tianjin Chengjian University has been approved as a Chinese-foreign cooperative educational institution by the Chinese Ministry of Education. It has collaborated with universities from countries along the Belt and Road, including Poland and Malaysia.

Through the agreements with Universiti Malaya, the university aims to advance its level of international education and provide a high-quality international platform.
