The China Computer Federation Young Computer Scientists & Engineers Forum (CCF YOCSEF), in Tianjin, held a special forum called "When will quantum computing bring the evolution in industry and technology".

The forum was one part of the 12th China Computer Federation Youth Elite Forum (CCF YEF2022), and was held both online and offline. 

Co-organized by several universities, including Tiangong University and Tianjin University, many front-line scholars and experts in quantum computing gathered together, conducting in-depth exchanges on the current development and industrial use of quantum computing. Nearly 20,000 viewers watched the live stream.

Five domestic experts in quantum computing shared their perspectives on the development status of quantum computing, such as in industry prospects, technical bottlenecks, domestic-and-international competition, investment and financing, and professional talent cultivation.

They offered advice and suggestions for the scientific research and industrial development of quantum computing in China. The aforementioned experts respectively came from the Beijing Computational Science Research Center, Hefei Origin Quantum Computing Technology Co., Ltd., the Institute of Theoretical Physics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, and Capital Normal University.

This forum has provided beneficial references for practitioners in the quantum computing industry. Moreover, it has also served as a sharing opportunity for the students, teenagers, and the public who watched the live stream.
