In an aim to actively integrate into the dual circulation development pattern and Tianjin’s  goal of becoming an international consumer city, Beichen district has accelerated the introduction of key business players to boost the high-quality development of the service sector.

A number of high-level commercial complexes such as Wangfujing Shopping Center, Greenland Global Trade Port, Yixingbu Future Street have been introduced successively, and the construction of these projects is being stepped up.

In the near future, a shopping and leisure area integrating cross-border e-commerce and domestic tax exemption stores will take shape in the district.

With a total investment of 2.1 billion yuan($329.66 million), the district’s Wangfujing Shopping Center is operated by the Beijing Wangfujing team.

It is expected to meet diverse and multi-level consumer needs and is scheduled to open in May next year.

Another distinctive commercial complex, the COCOPark project, will open in early 2024. With a total investment of 1.88 billion yuan, it is the first COCOPark in North China. After completion, it will become a fashionable, trendy, and experience-oriented shopping center integrating shopping, dining, cinema and other leisure services.
