Fifty-three intentional agreements with an estimated investment of over 92.2 billion yuan ($13.4 billion) were inked at the recent 2019 Conference on Overseas Chinese Pioneering and Development in Tianjin.

The conference attracted nearly 1,000 overseas Chinese businesspeople, high-level talents, and media from 54 countries and regions.

Events were held to promote communication and cooperation during the conference, including high-level personnel exchanges and communications, innovation projects, promotional seminars and forums on cross-Straits media and displays of key investment projects.

Concurrently held during the conference, the Chinese Project and Commodity Expo of World Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs attracted companies from 30 countries and regions as well as a number of overseas Chinese organizations.
