By the end of 2017, Tianjin had 19 cultural centers, 65 museums, 32 public libraries and 239 cultural service stations at grassroots level. The Binhai Cultural Center was opened to the public and the construction of Tianjin Song & Dance Theater and Tianjin Cultural Palace of Nationalities is speeding up.

A Universal-Circulating Service Model has been launched between 20 libraries at district level and Tianjin Library, effectively integrating the resources and improving the services of public libraries. The model also enables readers to find what they need more conveniently and helps balance the public cultural resources in Tianjin.
